PRODUCT DETAILS

This product is suitable for circuits that need to maintain normal operation during a fire, such as fire protection systems, emergency lighting systems, life-saving systems, alarm systems, and important monitoring circuits in industrial and civil buildings. It is commonly used in power supply and control circuits for fire pumps, sprinkler pumps, and fire elevators.

Product Description

Fire-resistant wires and cables refer to cables that maintain normal operating characteristics after being burned in a flame for a certain period of time under specified test conditions. According to the standard requirements of GB/T19216-2008 "Line Integrity Test of Cables or Optical Cables under Flame Conditions", fire-resistant wires and cables must burn at 750℃ for 90 minutes without melting the 2A fuse.

Fire-resistant wires and cables use high-temperature resistant organic fire-resistant strips as the fire-resistant layer. According to GB/T19666-2005, fire-resistant wires and cables can be divided into flame-retardant fire-resistant wires and cables and non-flame-retardant fire-resistant wires and cables. Flame-retardant fire-resistant wires and cables mainly meet the flame-retardant characteristics by adding flame retardants to the insulation or sheath. Non-flame-retardant fire-resistant wires and cables are those in which no flame retardants are added to the insulation or sheath. They do not possess flame-retardant properties.

Flame retardant grade Fire supply temperature Fire supply time The volume of non-metallic materials for laying cables in bundles Carbonization height Self-extinguishing time Applicable products
A ≥815℃ 40min ≥7 liters/meter ≤2.5meters ≤1h Flame-retardant and fire-resistant cable
B ≥815℃ 40min ≥3.5liters/meter ≤2.5meters ≤1h Flame-retardant and fire-resistant cable
C ≥815℃ 20min ≥1.5liters/meter ≤2.5meters ≤1h Flame-retardant and fire-resistant cable
D ≥815℃ 20min ≥0.5liters/meter ≤2.5meters ≤1h Flame-retardant and fire-resistant wire

FAQ

What is the typical delivery time for cables? Can you expedite the delivery?

What is the typical delivery time for cables? Can you expedite the delivery?

Standard delivery times: ① Ordinary cables (e.g., YJV, VV series): 15-25 days; ② Specialty cables (e.g., high-temperature resistant, explosion-proof): 25-40 days; ③ Large-volume orders (over 10,000 meters): 30-50 days. Expedited delivery is available, subject to the following conditions: ① Sufficient raw material inventory; ② Customer payment of expedited fees (calculated based on the number of expedited days); ③ Expedited delivery can generally shorten the delivery time by 5-10 days, subject to confirmation with the supplier.

Who determines the HS code for exported cables? Does the customer need to confirm it?

Who determines the HS code for exported cables? Does the customer need to confirm it?

The HS code is mainly determined by the supplier based on the cable type and specifications (e.g., 8544.49 for power cables and 8544.70 for communication cables). However, customers need to verify that: ① the HS code provided by the supplier must be consistent with the actual cable specifications and the customs clearance requirements of the destination country; ② customers can verify the accuracy of the HS code based on their own customs clearance experience to avoid customs clearance delays, fines, or impact on tariff payments due to incorrect coding.

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for exported cables?

Minimum order quantity (MOQ) depends on the cable type: ① Standard power and communication cables: MOQ is typically 1000 meters/model; this can be negotiated for bulk purchases. ② Specialty cables (high temperature resistant, explosion-proof, etc.): Due to complex manufacturing processes, MOQ is generally 500 meters/model.
