Insulated Fireproof Cable

Excellent fire resistance: The fire resistance rating not only meets the international standard GB12666.6 Class A 950℃ for 90 minutes, but also meets the requirements of British BS6387-1994 Class A 650℃ for 3 hours; Class B 750℃ for 3 hours; and Class C 950℃ for 3 hours. It can also withstand water spray and mechanical impact during combustion.

PRODUCT DETAILS

This product is suitable for metal-sheathed inorganic mineral-insulated fire-resistant cables with a rated voltage of 0.6/1kV and below. It uses multi-strand stranded copper wire as the conductor, inorganic mineral insulation tape as insulation, and a welded copper strip tube as the sheath. If necessary, a plastic outer sheath can be extruded over the copper sheath. For special applications requiring smokeless and halogen-free conditions, a low-smoke, halogen-free sheath can be added over the copper sheath.

Product Advantages

2. Long continuous length: Whether single-core or multi-core, the length can meet power supply needs, with each continuous length exceeding 1000m.

3. Large cross-section: Single-core cable cross-section can reach 630 mm², and multi-core cable cross-section can reach 70 mm².

4. Flexible: The cable can be coiled on a cable reel with a bending radius of 6-10D (D is the cable outer diameter).

5. It burns without smoke or toxicity. The insulation uses inorganic materials (non-combustible), producing no harmful gases and causing no secondary pollution during combustion, making it a truly environmentally friendly product.

6. High overload capacity: The cable not only has a large current-carrying capacity but also a significant overload capacity. According to wiring specifications, the cable surface temperature is typically ≤70℃. If the wiring is not to be touched and does not come into contact with combustible building materials, the cable sheath temperature can be increased to 105℃. Under overload conditions, the long-term operating temperature of the fire-resistant cable can reach 250℃.

7. Corrosion resistance: Organically insulated fire-resistant cables sometimes require plastic or iron pipes. Plastic pipes are prone to aging and becoming brittle, and iron pipes are prone to corrosion. Fire-resistant cables have a copper sheath that does not require puncture, and the copper sheath has excellent corrosion resistance.

8. No electromagnetic interference: When fire-resistant cables are laid in the same shaft as information and control lines, the copper sheath shields them from interference with the information transmitted by the signal and control cables.

9. High safety: Fire-resistant cables can supply power normally in flames, activating fire extinguishing equipment, reducing fire losses, and are particularly reliable for personal safety. Their copper sheath is an excellent conductor, the best grounding PE wire, and continues to the entire length of the cable, greatly improving the sensitivity and reliability of grounding protection.

10. Long service life: Inorganic insulation materials are resistant to high temperatures and do not easily age. Their lifespan is many times longer than that of organic insulated cables, reaching over 100 years under normal operating conditions.

11. Good economy: Due to advanced manufacturing processes and simple installation, flexible fire-resistant cables have a significantly lower overall cost than mineral-insulated cables under the same conditions.

FAQ

What is the typical delivery time for cables? Can you expedite the delivery?

What is the typical delivery time for cables? Can you expedite the delivery?

Standard delivery times: ① Ordinary cables (e.g., YJV, VV series): 15-25 days; ② Specialty cables (e.g., high-temperature resistant, explosion-proof): 25-40 days; ③ Large-volume orders (over 10,000 meters): 30-50 days. Expedited delivery is available, subject to the following conditions: ① Sufficient raw material inventory; ② Customer payment of expedited fees (calculated based on the number of expedited days); ③ Expedited delivery can generally shorten the delivery time by 5-10 days, subject to confirmation with the supplier.

Who determines the HS code for exported cables? Does the customer need to confirm it?

Who determines the HS code for exported cables? Does the customer need to confirm it?

The HS code is mainly determined by the supplier based on the cable type and specifications (e.g., 8544.49 for power cables and 8544.70 for communication cables). However, customers need to verify that: ① the HS code provided by the supplier must be consistent with the actual cable specifications and the customs clearance requirements of the destination country; ② customers can verify the accuracy of the HS code based on their own customs clearance experience to avoid customs clearance delays, fines, or impact on tariff payments due to incorrect coding.

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for exported cables?

Minimum order quantity (MOQ) depends on the cable type: ① Standard power and communication cables: MOQ is typically 1000 meters/model; this can be negotiated for bulk purchases. ② Specialty cables (high temperature resistant, explosion-proof, etc.): Due to complex manufacturing processes, MOQ is generally 500 meters/model.
